Joe Leahy is a recent graduate of Marist High School and off to college at Iowa! His parents wanted to give him a gift that embraced his passion in high school, which was competitive hockey. In this piece, 800 photos of Joe, his parents, 2 siblings, grandparents, extended family, friends, vacations, Blackhawks, hockey games, etc are used to make an image of Joe on attack on the ice. In the background is a subtle image of his father, Joe Sr., watching on with his cup of coffee - a common spot for him at all of his son’s games and practices.
